About Mr. Hazard
Mr. Hazard is starting his second year as an assistant principal at South County High School, where he works with students whose last names begin with Di -K. This year marks his 30th year in education.
Before coming to South County, Mr. Hazard spent many years at Robinson Secondary School, where he served as the MTSS Coordinator and a System of Support Advisor. In this role, he helped develop strategies to support all students. He was also a Health and Physical Education teacher and the Head Wrestling Coach, leading his teams to seven VHSL State Championships.
Mr. Hazard is a proud graduate of George Mason University, where he earned both his undergraduate and master's degrees in education and was a member of the wrestling team. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and cooking with his family, attending live music events, and working as a public address announcer and TV broadcaster for various sports.
With his extensive background in educational leadership and a passion for community engagement, Mr. Hazard is dedicated to helping students and staff at South County High School reach their full potential.
