World Language Course Flow Chart

World Language Sequence 2025-26

The information in the above chart is typed out below:

• Level 1 leads to Level 2
• Level 2 leads to Level 3 or Careers HN
• Level 3 and Careers HN leads to Level 4 or AP
• If Level 4 is chosen it leads to either Level 5 or AP Language
• If AP is chosen it leads to either Level 5 or AP Literature

TJ language graduation requirement is three years of the same language

The Careers Applications HN course after Level 2 will be based on demonstrated proficiency

Students with 3 credits by exam will follow the pathway of Level 4

Freshmen entering TJ with 3 credits, will be enrolled in Level 4. If students would like to pursue AP Language a Readiness Assessment will be administered for demonstrated proficiency

Latin offers Level 4 Dual Enrollment
