A LopeCat Library catalog account is an optional feature in our LopeCat Library catalog. You can choose to set up an account in order to use additional features . Please note that a LopeCat Library catalog account is not required to use Library services, access ebooks, or check out any print items. 

Signing in for the first time

If you've ever checked out a Library material, you already have a Library account. However, you will still need to create a password. 

To sign in to your LopeCat Library catalog account the first time:

  • On the login page , click Create/reset password
  • Enter your name and student or staff ID. 
  • You will be emailed a link to create a password. The email will be sent to the email on file in the Library catalog. If you're not sure what email is on file, please Contact Us .
  • Click on the link in the email. You will be prompted to create a password. 

If you don't have a LopeCat Library catalog account, you can create one!

To create a LopeCat Library catalog account: 

  • On the  login page , click on Create account.
  • Fill in the required fields and click  Submit.
  • A Library staff member will reach out to you within 24 hours to confirm your account was created. 
  • Once you receive confirmation, you will be able to start using your LopeCat Library catalog account.
