Persistent Links: How to Create Persistent Links

Instructions for creating persistent links for GCU Library databases.

General Directions

In many cases, a database will have a button or link within a record that can be used to locate the persistent link to that record.  Look for a label that says " link", " persistent link", " permalink", " jumpstart" or something similar.  Sometimes the Citeor Emailfunction within a database can also be used to locate a persistent link.

Note that persistent links will still require you to log in to view the item.

Not sure where a database falls on this list? Use your browser's search page function (usually opened with ctrl+f or command+f).
