Provides access to over 2,000 full text, quality controlled scientific and scholarly journals from varied subject areas. The Directory of Open Access Journals includes access to journals that use a funding model that does not charge readers or their institutions for access. Journals are required to have quality controls including peer-review or editorial quality control to be included.

Rubenstein Rare Book & Manuscript Library at Duke University holds a significant collection of 19th and early 20th century American sheet music. The Historic American Sheet Music Project provides access to digital images of 3042 pieces from the collection, published in the United States between 1850 and 1920.

- IMSLP Petrucci Music Library (International Music Score Library Project) This link opens in a new windowIMSLP stands for the International Music Score Library Project and was started in 2006. The logo on the main page is a capital letter A. It was taken from the beginning of the very first printed book of music, the Harmonice Musices Odhecaton. It was published in Venice in 1501 by Ottaviano Petrucci, the library's namesake.

This multidisciplinary database brings together links to full text for publicly available scholarly content from a number of different sources from around the world, all of which are open access or license-free. It includes content from major subject repositories such as arXiv as well as open access journals. Content includes journal articles, pre-prints, dissertations, conference papers, and reports.
