The Academic Centers for Excellence (ACE) employs peer tutors who not only excel in the subject area they are tutoring but also embody servant leadership demonstrating kindness, patience, respect, and good communication in helping others.
Responsibilities:
- Provide peer tutoring/coaching for students.
- Collect and maintain student data related to peer tutoring assistance, assessment, and progress monitoring.
- Maintain confidentiality of student records and services provided.
- May be requested to perform administrative duties for Center operations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must have current 3.25 GPA or above and an “A” in the specific course for which you will be tutoring students or referral from faculty.
- Must be able to work in-person on the Phoenix campus and attend training the first semester of employment if hired.
- Must have a passion and willingness to help others succeed.
- Possess strong ethics and integrity.
