MAXQDA is a qualitative data analysis software available to doctoral students. This software allows you to transcribe audio and video files, import and analyze X (Formerly known as Twitter) data, analyze focus groups, visualize results, conduct text analysis, generate reports, and create statistical frequency tables. This article provides download and installation steps for Windows and Mac computers.
NOTE Each year, students using MAXQDA will need to renew their license using a new license code that is provided in the DC Network (
click here to be taken to the MAXQDA software page in the DC Network
). Occasionally a new version of MAXQDA will become available for download as well. When that occurs, any students who had previously downloaded the older version of MAXQDA will need to uninstall it and install/license the new version. GCU is currently using MAXQDA 24.
