If you need to convert your PowerPoint to a PDF, view the appropriate steps below! Choose Desktop Appif you are using the downloaded version of PowerPoint, or Onlineif you are using PowerPoint Online through your GCU Student Portal!
Microsoft PowerPoint (Desktop App)
Start by selecting Filein the upper left-hand corner.
In the File window, select Save As.
Click on Browseto select a location on your computer to save your assignment.
Once you have selected a location, select PDF (*pdf)from the Save as typedrop-down menu.
Then, click on Options...
From the Options pop-up window, under Publish what:select Notes pagesfrom the drop-down menu, then click OK to continue.
Once completed, select Save.
Your PowerPoint should now be saved as a PDF file with all speaker notes attached!
Start by selecting Filein the top-let corner of the Menu Bar. In the File drop-down menu, select Print.
In the Print window, change the default ( Slides)to Notesby selecting Layout.
Then, select Save as PDFin the bottom left-hand corner and click Save.
Your PowerPoint should now be saved as a PDF file with speaker notes!
Microsoft PowerPoint (Online)
Start by selecting Filein the upper left-hand corner.
In the File window, select Printand then select Print slides with notes.
Now, select the browser you are using from the options below for what to do next.
When the print page opens, make sure that the destination is set to Save as PDF.
After clicking the Savebutton, choose a file name and location before clicking the final Save.
Mac
PC
You will then be prompted with a ‘ Your PDF is Ready to Print’ window. Select Open PDFto continue.
PC
Print the page using the printer icon in the upper right or ctrl+p on your keyboard.
Where it says Destination, ensure that Microsoft Print to PDFis selected.
After clicking Print, choose a file name and location. To finish the process, click the Savebutton.
Mac
Click Filethen Save Page Asin the upper left corner of the screen.
Name your file, choose a location, then click Save.
When the file is ready, you will see a popup letting you know the document is ready to print. Select Open PDF.
When the PDF File – Printscreen appears, make sure the Printer is set to Microsoft Print to PDF.
After clicking Print, choose a file name and location. To finish the process, click the Savebutton.
When the file is ready, you will see a popup letting you know the document is ready to print. Select OpenPDF.
Click Filethen Export as PDFin the upper left corner of the screen.
Name your file, choose a location, then click Save.
