To offer a BigQuery sharing (formerly Analytics Hub) listing as a data product in Google Cloud Marketplace, you create a data product in Producer Portal that corresponds to the Sharing listing.
Before you begin
- To offer a data product through Cloud Marketplace, you must first create a listing in Sharing. To learn more, see Create a listing .
- To get access to Producer Portal, you must have completed the Cloud Marketplace Project Info Form , provided by the Google Cloud Marketplace team.
Create your workspace for Cloud Marketplace products
We recommend that you create a new project in the Google Cloud console
primarily for your
Cloud Marketplace products. For the project ID, use the format PARTNER_NAME
-public
. For information about creating projects, see Creating and managing projects
.
If you already have a project for your current Cloud Marketplace products, you can re-use that project.
Create your product in the portal
To add your product information, which includes your marketing information, pricing plan, and integrated data, use Producer Portal .
To create your product, complete the following steps:

Click Add product.

Under Product type, select Data.

For Sharing listing, enter the URL or the resource name of the Sharing listing that you want to use to create your Cloud Marketplace data product listing.

Specify your product's Product IDand Config ID. These are unique identifiers for your product, used only for referencing your changes, and customers can't see them.

Certify that your product complies with the Cloud Marketplace listing requirements and the requirements for data products .

Click Create. It might take a few seconds to create your product.

After you add your product in Producer Portal, you create and prepare one or more configs for publication.
