Interact with viewers on posts

After you add posts to the Posts tab on your channel, viewers can comment to respond. Learn how viewers can respond to your posts .

Post access can change based on your channel role .

Note:Your subscribers can also interact with you in your Community .

Find your posts

Sign in to YouTube Studio .
From the left menu, select Content.
Tap the Poststab.

Note:You can view any expired posts in your archive. Navigate to your Posts tab and then select the “Archived” section.

Reply to comments on your posts

Reply to comments on your posts to create a conversation with your audience.

Hover over a post and click Comments. You’ll see the Post Comments page.
Select Replybelow any comment.

You’ll occasionally get notifications about comments on your posts unless you opt out. Learn how to manage your notifications .

Newest first.

Change a post's comment settings

If you want to change the comment settings for a specific post:

On your computer, sign in to YouTube Studio .
From the left menu, select Content.
Select Posts.
Find the post you'd like to update, then select Details.
Choose your comment settings.
Select SAVE.

Note:The “Pause” option isn’t currently available for posts.

Pin a comment on your posts

You can choose a comment to stay at the top of the feed by pinning it. Pinning a comment makes it more visible to your audience.

Sign in to YouTube Studio .
From the left menu, select Content.
Select the Poststab.
Hover over a post and click Comments.
Hover over the comment you want to pin.
Click MorePin. If you already pinned a comment, this will replace it.

Note:You can unpin a comment at any time and the comment will no longer be visible at the top of the comments.

Moderate comments on posts

You can hold comments on your posts. Learn more about moderating comments .

Sign in to YouTube Studio .
From the left menu, select Settings.
Select Community moderation Content controls.
Under "Comments on your channel," choose your settings.
Select Save.

Add hearts to comments on posts

You can use a heartto show appreciation for a viewer's comments on your Posts tab posts. Find the heartnext to the thumbs up and thumbs down.

Viewers will see your picture and a small red heart on the lower left corner of their comment. Depending on their settings, they may also get a notification that a channel owner loved their comment.
