Unlock your AI potential, one ‘Boost Bite’ at a time
Sarah Kennedy is VP of global growth and demand generation marketing at Google Cloud. Here she shares a new series of training videos, AI Boost Bites , designed to help build AI skills and capabilities in 10 minutes or less.
After decades of development in research labs, AI is now being embraced and deployed in extraordinary ways. At Google Cloud we’ve seen this acceleration firsthand, with usage of our Gemini models now 35X higher than just a year ago. 1
Sixty-eight percent of executives report a moderate to extreme gap within their organizations when it comes to AI.
Progress doesn’t happen uniformly, which makes this difficult for organizations. Some are keen to adopt immediately, while others are more cautious. Different teams have different needs, and technological change happens faster than structural change, which can leave us scrambling to bridge the gap.
A recent study from Deloitte found that 78% of executives report a moderate-to-extreme gap within their organizations when it comes to AI, with over a quarter (27%) classifying their gap as “major” or “extreme.” Training, development, and encouragement are needed, but how do you build a curriculum when the technology is constantly changing?
That’s the challenge we posed to our team, and, in response, a few AI enthusiasts started a passion project. They filmed a series of short AI training videos with fun challenges to test their learning called “AI Boost Bites.”
Introducing ‘AI Boost Bites’
The videos focused on practical uses of AI — how to write better prompts, how to use AI to search for insights, how to get started with generative tools. And because they were short, they easily into fit into busy schedules.
The internal project was an instant hit, with “Bites” being viewed more than 20,000 times by Googlers in the first few months. Our teams used them to solve real problems and drive remarkable results. We were inundated with requests on which products and areas to cover next.
These are video lessons under 10 minutes long, designed to help you acquire new AI skills and expand your capabilities.
Seeing this reaction from our teams told us that “AI Boost Bites” needed to be shared with the wider marketing community, which is why we’re now making them publicly available. We’re starting with 25 episodes live on the site, and we’ll be releasing new ones as they become available.
Forget monthlong courses and big time commitments. These are concise, impactful video lessons, each under 10 minutes long, designed to help you and your team acquire new AI skills and expand your capabilities.
