REST Resource: edits.images

    • The Image resource represents an uploaded image and is used by the ImagesService.

    • An Image is defined by its id , url , sha1 , and sha256 .

    • Available methods for the Image resource include delete , deleteall , list , and upload .

    • Potential errors when working with Image resources include generic server errors (5xx) and concurrency update errors (409).

    id

    string

    A unique id representing this image.
    url

    string

    A URL that will serve a preview of the image.
    sha1

    string

    A sha1 hash of the image.
    sha256

    A sha256 hash of the image.

    Methods

    delete

    		Deletes the image (specified by id) from the edit.

    deleteall

    		Deletes all images for the specified language and image type.

    list

    		Lists all images.

    upload

    		Uploads an image of the specified language and image type, and adds to the edit.

    Error codes

    The operations of this resource, return the following HTTP error codes:

    Error code Reason Resolution
    5xx
    		Generic error in the Google Play server. Retry your request.

    If the problem persists contact your Google Play account manager or submit a support request. Consider checking the Play Status Dashboard for any known outages.
    409
    		Concurrency update error.

    There was an attempt to update an object that is being updated. For example, a purchase is getting acknowledged by calling the Play Billing Library's acknowledgePurchase() method and by calling the Play Developer API's purchases.products.acknowledge at the same time.
