The time it takes for your payment to reflect in your Google Ads account depends on the payment method you use and may be affected by regional payment processing timelines.

Payment update timeframe

  • Check: It can take up to 5 business days after we receive your check to update your Google Ads balance. If you mail your payment internationally, it can take longer.
  • Wire transfer, Netbanking, UPI, Google Pay, and other manual payments: It can take up to 5 business days after initiating the transfer to update your Google Ads account balance.
    • If it's been over 2 weeks since you initiated the transfer and you still don't notice your payment reflected in your account, you can contact us . You'll need to include a valid proof of payment (such as an uncropped screenshot of your bank statement or transaction details) with this contact form by selecting the "Choose Files" button.
  • Credit card: It can take up to 24 hours after a credit card payment to update your Google Ads account balance. If the payment has been declined, contact your bank or credit card company.

Note: Weekends and holidays aren't included in the processing timeframe.


Check your payment status for monthly invoicing accounts

  1. Go to Summary within the BillingmenuBilling Icon .
  2. Look for "Your last payment was on" under the "Amount due" section.
  3. Find the date and amount of your most recently processed payment.

Check your payment status for manual or automatic payments accounts

  1. Go to Summary within the Billingmenu Billing Icon.
  2. Look for the "Last payment" card on the right hand side.
  3. Find the date and amount of your most recently processed payment.

Best practices for payment processing delays

Keep in mind that payment processing times can vary depending on the payment method and the country. If your payment isn’t reflected in your account within the typical timeframe for your payment method and country:

  • Check with your bank or credit card company that your payment was successful.
  • Ensure that the payment was initiated for the correct Google Ads account.
  • Verify that the payment amount matches what's due in your Google Ads account.

For monthly invoicing customers: If you’ve checked the items above and still don’t see your payment reflected in your Ads account, you can contact the Google Ads collections team through the Get help with invoice payments, related suspensions and statement of account requests form.

For manual or automatic payments customers: If your payment was initiated more than 2 weeks ago, you’ve checked the items above, and the payment still doesn’t appear in your Google Ads account, contact us .
