Export trace spans with sinks deprecation

The export of trace data to BigQuery by using sinks was deprecated on February 18, 2026and the service will be shut down down on February 18, 2027.

To query your trace data by using SQL, you can either use Log Analytics or BigQuery:

• Query and analyze traces by using Log Analytics .
• Query a linked BigQuery dataset .
