Database Center lets you create a customized dashboard view that shows
only the health issues in your database fleet that you want to see. A dashboard
view can be for only you, or it can be shared with colleagues who have access to
your Google Cloud project. If you don't want to create a permanent customized
dashboard view, you can create a temporary custom URL to share with anyone in
your organization.
In thePrincipalcolumn, find aprincipalfor which you
want to give access to Gemini Cloud Assist, and then clickeditEdit principalin that row.
In theEdit accesspane, clickaddAdd another role.
InSelect a role, selectDatabase center admin.
ClickSave
Create a dashboard view
You can create a customized dashboard view for yourself or for your
Google Cloud project. A dashboard view created for only yourself can't be viewed by
anyone else. A dashboard view created for a Google Cloud project can be viewed by
anyone with permission to view the Google Cloud project. To create a dashboard view,
do the following:
In the Google Cloud console, go to theDatabase Centerpage.
ClickViewdrop-down menu to see the customized dashboards.
ClickDashboard viewsto see the customized dashboards.
Click a dashboard view to choose it. The dashboard view appears when you
click theOverviewtab. The ID of the dashboard view appears next toViewnear the top of the Google Cloud console.
Favorite a dashboard view
Dashboard views that you favorite appear at the top of the list of
dashboard views when you click theViewdrop-down. To favorite a
dashboard view, do the following:
In the Google Cloud console, go to theDatabase Centerpage.
ClickDelete, type the name of the dashboard view, then clickConfirm.
Share a temporary dashboard view
You can share a temporary dashboard view using a URL. Dashboard views shared
using a URL are not saved for future use. If you want a permanent dashboard view
that can be updated and that anyone in your Google Cloud project can see, thencreate a dashboard view. To share a
temporary dashboard view, do the following:
In the Google Cloud console, go to theDatabase Centerpage.

Grant the IAM role that's required to create, update, or\n delete a saved dashboard.\n\n 1. Go to the **IAM \\& Admin** page.\n\n [Go to IAM \\& Admin](https://console.cloud.google.com/projectselector/iam-admin/iam?supportedpurview=)\n 2. In the **Principal** column, find a\n [principal](/iam/docs/overview#concepts_related_identity) for which you\n want to give access to Gemini Cloud Assist, and then click\n edit **Edit principal** in that row.\n\n 3. In the **Edit access** pane, click\n add **Add another role**.\n\n 4. In **Select a role** , select **Database center admin**.\n\n 5. Click **Save changes** near the top of the Google Cloud console.\n\n4. Click **Create new view**.\n\n5. Type a name for your dashboard in **Dashboard view name**. You can change\n the dashboard name.\n\n6. (Optional) Type an ID. The default ID is the name you typed in for your\n dashboard. The ID can't be changed.\n\n7. Choose whether you want the dashboard to be available to only you or if you\n want it shared with anyone who can access your Google Cloud project.\n\n8. Click **Save**.\n\nUpdate a dashboard view\n-----------------------\n\nTo update an existing dashboard view, do the following:\n\n1. In the Google Cloud console, go to the **Database Center** page.\n\n\n [Database Center](https://console.cloud.google.com/database-center)\n\n \u003cbr /\u003e\n\n2. Do one of the following to choose the dashboard view you want to\n update:\n\n - Choose a dashboard view from the **View** drop-down menu.\n\n - Click **Dashboard views**, then click a dashboard view. The selected\n dashboard view grays out.\n\n3. Update your dashboard view by changing its filtering and health issue\n settings. Click **Save changes**.\n\n5. Click **Save changes to current view**.\n\n6. Optional: To change the name of the view, type a new name in\n **Dashboard view name**.\n\n7. Optional: Update the visibility of the view.\n\n8. Click **Save**.\n\nChoose a dashboard view\n-----------------------\n\nTo choose a dashboard view, do the following:\n\n1. In the Google Cloud console, go to the **Database Center** page.\n\n\n [Database Center](https://console.cloud.google.com/database-center)\n\n \u003cbr /\u003e\n\n2. Do one of the following:\n\n - Click **View** drop-down menu to see the customized dashboards.\n\n - Click **Dashboard views** to see the customized dashboards.\n\n3. Click a dashboard view to choose it. The dashboard view appears when you\n click the **Overview** tab. The ID of the dashboard view appears next to\n **View** near the top of the Google Cloud console.\n\nFavorite a dashboard view\n-------------------------\n\nDashboard views that you favorite appear at the top of the list of\ndashboard views when you click the **View** drop-down. Locate the dashboard view you want to delete.\n\n4. Click more_vert **Actions** in its\n row.\n\n5. Click **Delete** , type the name of the dashboard view, then click\n **Confirm**.\n\nShare a temporary dashboard view\n--------------------------------\n\nYou can share a temporary dashboard view using a URL. Dashboard views shared\nusing a URL are not saved for future use. If you want a permanent dashboard view\nthat can be updated and that anyone in your Google Cloud project can see, then\n[create a dashboard view](#create-dashboard-view).
