NAME: gcloud alpha compute hosts get-version - get software versions for a Compute Engine host
SYNOPSIS: gcloud alpha compute hosts get-version HOST_NAME [ --async ] [ --current ] [ --reservation = RESERVATION ] [ --reservation-block = RESERVATION_BLOCK ] [ --target ] [ --zone = ZONE ] [ GCLOUD_WIDE_FLAG … ]
DESCRIPTION: (ALPHA) Get software versions for a Compute Engine host.
POSITIONAL ARGUMENTS: HOST_NAME

Name of the host to get version setting for.
FLAGS: --async

Return immediately, without waiting for the operation in progress to complete.

--current

Include current SBOM selection in the result.

--reservation = RESERVATION

Name of the reservation the host is associated with.

--reservation-block = RESERVATION_BLOCK

Name of the reservation block the host is associated with.

--target

Include target SBOM selection in the result.

--zone = ZONE

Zone of the host to get version setting for. If not specified and the compute/zone property isn't set, you might be prompted to select a zone (interactive mode only).
To avoid prompting when this flag is omitted, you can set the compute/zone property:

gcloud config set compute/zone ZONE

A list of zones can be fetched by running:

gcloud compute zones list

To unset the property, run:

gcloud config unset compute/zone

Alternatively, the zone can be stored in the environment variable CLOUDSDK_COMPUTE_ZONE .
