Enum CellMergeState

  • CellMergeState defines the possible states of a table cell's merge status.

  • You can access enum values using the parent class, name, and property like SlidesApp.CellMergeState.NORMAL .

  • NORMAL indicates a cell is not merged.

  • HEAD signifies the upper-left cell in a merged set.

  • MERGED indicates a cell is part of a merged set but is not the head cell.

Cell Merge State

The table cell merge states.

To call an enum, you call its parent class, name, and property. For example, SlidesApp.CellMergeState.NORMAL .

Properties

Property Type Description
NORMAL
Enum The cell is not merged.
HEAD
Enum The cell is merged and it is the head (i.e. upper left) cell within the merged set of cells.

As an example, assume the following table.

-------------------
If the first two cells are merged to form the following table, cell (0,0) is the head cell and (0,1) is a merged cell.

-------------------
MERGED
Enum The cell is merged but is not the head (i.e. upper left) cell.

As an example, assume the following table.
