This document outlines how to update a specified Google My Business account using the
accounts.patchmethod. -
Only the
accountNamefield of an account is editable; other fields are ignored during updates. -
The request should be a
PUTrequest to the specified URL with the account name as a path parameter. -
You can validate the request without updating the account by setting the
validateOnlyquery parameter totrue. -
plus.business.manageorbusiness.manageOAuth scopes are required for authorization.
Updates the specified business account. Personal accounts cannot be updated using this method.
