Method: liveCuepoints.insert

  • This API allows inserting a cuepoint into a live broadcast via a POST request to a specific URL.

  • The request requires specifying a channelId to identify the broadcast's owner and an optional onBehalfOfContentOwner parameter for users managing multiple content owners.

  • The request body must contain an instance of LiveCuepoint , and a successful response returns a new instance of it.

  • Authorization to use this API requires the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtubepartner OAuth scope.

Inserts a cuepoint into a live broadcast.

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Query parameters

Parameters
channelId

string

The channelId parameter identifies the channel that owns the broadcast into which the cuepoint is being inserted.

onBehalfOfContentOwner

string

The onBehalfOfContentOwner parameter identifies the content owner that the user is acting on behalf of. This parameter supports users whose accounts are associated with multiple content owners. You can obtain the content owner ID that will serve as the parameter value by calling the YouTube Content ID API's contentOwners.list method.

Request body

The request body contains an instance of LiveCuepoint .

Response body

If successful, the response body contains a newly created instance of LiveCuepoint .
