GoogleMaps Framework Reference

  • GMSMapPoint represents a point on the map, potentially a projected coordinate.

  • The x and y values range from -1 to 1, with (0, 0) at the map's center, and y increasing Northward, x increasing Eastward.

  • GMSProject() and GMSUnproject() are related functions for coordinate transformation.

  • The struct has two properties: x and y , both representing coordinates as Doubles.

GMSMapPoint

  struct
 GMSMapPoint
 {}

A point on the map. May represent a projected coordinate.

x is in [-1, 1]. The axis direction is normal: y grows towards North, x grows towards East. (0, 0) is the center of the map.

See GMSProject() and GMSUnproject() .
