Method: accounts.locations.localPosts.patch

  • This document explains how to update a specified local post using the PATCH HTTP request.

  • The request requires specifying the local post's name in the URL path and using a field mask to indicate the fields to update.

  • The request body should contain the updated LocalPost object, and a successful response will return the updated LocalPost object.

  • Authorization requires either the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/plus.business.manage or https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage OAuth scope.

Updates the specified local post and returns the updated local post.

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

The name of the local post to update.

string ( FieldMask format)

The specific fields to update. You must specify each field that is being updated in the mask.

This is a comma-separated list of fully qualified names of fields. Example: "user.displayName,photo" .

Request body

The request body contains an instance of LocalPost .

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance of LocalPost .

Authorization Scopes

Requires one of the following OAuth scopes:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/plus.business.manage
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage
