With Premium Lite, you won’t get ads on videos like gaming, fashion, beauty, news, and more. Ads however may appear on music content, Shorts, and when you search or browse. Premium Lite doesn’t include YouTube Music Premium or features like video downloads and background play.

Cancel your Premium Lite membership
To cancel your membership:
- Go to youtube.com/paid_memberships .
- Click Manage membership.
- Click Deactivate.
- Click Continueto cancel.
- Select your reason for canceling and then click Next.
- Click Yes, cancel.

Upgrade your Premium Lite membership
To upgrade your membership:
- Go to youtube.com/paid_memberships .
- Click Learn moreunder Premium.
- Click Get YouTube Premium.
- Select your new Premium plan.
- Click Confirm.
