Address (PIN) verification

How to request a replacement PIN

This article explains how to verify your payments address details and request a replacement PIN for your Google AdSense account.

PINs are typically delivered within 2-4 weeks after being mailed, though delivery times can vary depending on your location. If you haven't received your PIN after 3 weeks, you can request a replacement PIN.

Step 1. Check your payments address

Follow these steps to check if you can receive your PIN mailer:

  1. Confirm your address details are accurate, up-to-date, and match the country/territory you selected when you signed up for AdSense. Don't use an address in a country/territory that's different from your account's country/territory.
  2. Confirm your address can receive standard mail through your local mail service. For more details, go to: What is a valid payments address?
Tip: It's best to enter your payments address in local language characters.
  3. In most locations, PINs are delivered by the local postal service. Check with your local mail service provider or post office that your mail is not being forwarded to another address. Also check if they are holding any mail for you. Sometimes, PINs can get held up at the post office.

If needed, you can change your payments address .

Step 2. Request a replacement PIN

  1. Sign in to your AdSense account.
  2. Click Payments, then Verification check.
  3. Click Resend PIN.
    • If you requested a PIN less than 3 weeks ago, a message indicates you’ve already requested a PIN. You can only request a new PIN every 3 weeks.
    • If it’s been over 3 weeks, a dialog box appears allowing you to verify and update your payments address before clicking Resend. A message confirms we’ll mail a replacement PIN to your payments address.
Notes:
  • If your original PIN arrives first, you may use it; the replacement PIN will be a duplicate of the original.
  • If you've requested your 4th replacement PIN mail and you still haven't received it after 3 weeks, go to our PIN troubleshooter .
