Search your Chrome history with Gemini in Chrome

You can find pages you've visited before in Chrome by asking Gemini in Chrome. You don’t need to keep tabs open to save them for later, or remember the exact site and when you visited it. Just describe what you're searching for using everyday language, like "what’s that chicken parmesan recipe I found last week?" Gemini in Chrome will search your Chrome history to help you rediscover that page and resume what you were doing.

Find pages you visited in Chrome

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top of your browser, click Gemini in Chrome.
  3. Ask Gemini in Chrome to find a page you previously visited.
    • Use everyday language to describe the page you’re trying to find.

Gemini in Chrome can’t find the page

If you asked Gemini in Chrome to find a page you previously visited but it couldn’t find it:

  1. Make sure you’re signed in to the same Google Account you used when you visited the page. This should also be the same Google Account that you use with Gemini.
  2. If you use Chrome on multiple devices, check if your Chrome history is synced. Learn how to sync your history in Chrome .
