With Ask Advisor, you’ll get personalized answers to your questions, understand and improve your campaign performance, troubleshoot performance or ads policy related issues, and receive suggestions for new text and image creatives.

How Ask Advisor works
Ask Advisor is optimized for Google Ads, and can understand your questions and provide a personalized response. You can use Ask Advisor to identify areas of improvement, troubleshoot issues that impact your campaign performance, and implement the suggested changes with your approval.
Follow the steps below to access Ask Advisor in Google Ads:
- In your Google Ads account
, select the Ask Advisor
icon in the top right corner that says “Ask Advisor-Beta”. (If your account is eligible, you’ll have the option).
- This opens the Ask Advisor window on the right panel.
- Type your query into the Ask Advisor.
- Ask Advisor may need a moment to process your request.
- Generated images are either sourced from your landing page or generated by Google AI.
- Use the thumbs up and thumbs down buttons to provide the product team with feedback on each response.
- It’s your responsibility to ensure that the suggestions you accept are accurate and relevant before implementing them in your account.
- Note that Ask Advisor isn’t currently available in MCC accounts.

- Communicate with Ask Advisor conversationally. You can ask follow up questions on the subject being discussed, or change to a new subject.
- Ask Advisor suggests responses to help guide your conversation. You can either choose a suggested option or type your own query.
- Use “chat history” (clock icon) to refer to old conversations.
- Use “saved info” (under the 3-dot icon) to view context saved from previous chats.
