Once your ads are up and running, there may come a time when you want to stop them. If you’re running an ad for wool coats in the US, you probably don’t need that ad to run in the summer. Come October, however, you might want to get it up and running again. By pausing your ad, you can save the ad for later without having to rewrite it and send it through review again.
This article shows you how to pause or resume a single ad or multiple ads at the same time.

How to pause or resume a single ad
You can pause or resume a single ad:
- Sign in to your Search Ads 360 account.
- From the page menu on the left, click Ads.
- Click the green dot
next to the ad you’d like to pause.
- Select Pauseto pause your ad or Enableto resume your ad.
How to pause or resume multiple ads
To pause or resume multiple ads:
- Sign in to your Search Ads 360 account.
- From the page menu on the left, click Ads.
- Select the checkboxes next to the ads that you want to pause or resume.
- At the top of the table, click Edit.
- Select Pauseto pause your ads or Enableto resume your ads. From this drop-down you also have the following option:
- Remove your ads altogether. Learn how to Remove one or more ads in Search Ads 360 .
Keep in mind
- You're in control of your ads. You can pause your ads for any period of time that you'd like, and you can resume your ads when you want.
- Your ads won't accrue charges while they're paused.
