MIND YOUR SPANNERS
By:

Looks like Simon might leave Robespierre alone from now on.

I can’t take credit for the “Ear Muffs” line.* Stephanie wrote that. She just comes up with this stuff and I have no choice but to illustrate it.

And Rad Sampson seems to be as concerned about Stephanie as Eleanor is. Maybe they both know something..?

*I know that sounds crazy. I did come up with the line. But it sure feels like she wrote it.

It totally worked for me; being funny comes way before being right…

Yipe!!!!

Though, to be fair, Stephanie would have a lovely smile on her as she would someone in half.

Yes, but if we were going to have a Supreme Robot Ruler of the Earth, Stephanie would be a good candidate.
Imagine a Robotic Emperor Eleanor.

We shall see what we shall see.
Stephanie was playing with the monkey/pipe wrench. I was going to have her balance it on her nose, but then she came up with the “Ear Muffs” line.
And we all know how good she is at throwing things at airships .

Not at all. The drawing came from looking up “Antique Pipe Wrench,” so I just assumed that that’s what it was.
Dang. I could’ve titled this strip “Release the Flying Monkey Wrench.”
Or something.

That would make a cool t-shirt, now that you mention it. Though, since I drew it so small, it would probably work better on a coffee mug.

I need to apologize. I mistakenly intimated that the wrench in question was the same type as used in BioShock . It isn’t. A pipe wrench has curved jaws with gripping ridges. What this wrench is, is an adjustable spanner or “monkey wrench”. Like someone else said, “Whoopsie”.
