Dr. Miklos' Credentials
Dr. Miklos is a graduate of Medical University of South Carolina where he received his Master of Science Degree in 1985, followed by his Medical Degree in 1989. He then completed his traditional four-year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, in 1993. He then completed a two-year fellowship in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Vaginal Surgery in Cincinnati, Ohio. In 1995, after the completion of his fellowship, he came to Atlanta, Georgia, where he was named the Director of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Vaginal Surgery at Atlanta Medical Center. Despite being named an authority in his field that year, Dr. Miklos chose to further develop his understanding of minimally invasive surgery and female pelvic anatomy.
In 1996, Dr. Miklos left Atlanta Medical Center and studied under internationally-renowned laparoscopic surgeon, William B. Saye, MD, (retired), and world-renowned pelvic anatomist/surgeon, A. Cullen Richardson, MD, (deceased). Dr. Miklos spent 2 years with this all-star team taking his training to an unprecedented new level among his peers. Dr. Miklos is the first Gynecologist to train in both of these two Fellowships: Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (2 years) and Laparoscopic Reconstructive Surgery (2 years). In 1997, Dr. Miklos founded the Atlanta Urogynecology Associates, which is now Miklos and Moore Urogynecology.
Dr. Miklos continues to pursue excellence in his field by searching worldwide for new, innovative and/or unique surgical and nonsurgical techniques. This commitment to research and development makes Miklos & Moore Urogynecology one of the busiest centers for teaching, research, and surgery in the country.

Dr. Miklos has led the way in performing many laparoscopic vaginal procedures, and was one of the first surgeons in the country to perform procedures including:
Sacrocolpopexy
Paravaginal Repair
Burch Urethropexy
Enterocele Repair

He was also one of the first surgeons to do the TVT Sling (1998), TOT Sling (2002), and Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation (2003). Many of these surgeries are now the “Gold Standard” in vaginal reconstruction today.
The pursuit of a better quality of life for his patients has also lead him to investigate, research, study, and then employ surgical techniques for a much desired and requested line of therapy known as Aesthetic (Cosmetic) Vaginal Surgery, or Vaginal Rejuvenation. In fact, Dr. Miklos was the first Urogynecologist in the country to train with Dr. David Matlock (2002) in the discipline of Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation. This surgical training has allowed Dr. Miklos and Dr. Moore to round out their discipline of vaginal reconstructive surgery and offer all modalities of therapy for patients with various expectations and requests. Because of Dr. Miklos’ research and academic resume he is often asked to teach and write about cosmetic vaginal surgery in order to add legitimacy to the discipline.
Dr. Miklos has more training in various types of reconstructive vaginal surgery than just about anybody in the world. He has written more than 300 scientific papers, abstracts and book chapters. He and Dr. Moore are co-authors of the new book Vaginal Rejuvenation. Patient Testimonials

Listen up!! Ladies, with Labia Reduction/Revisions becoming more popular, keep in mind that not all doctors know what they are doing, and can ruin your for life. Please be careful when choosing a doctor. Remember, you can’t put back what is gone. I have experienced this first hand, and would not want anyone to encounter the devastation that I have suffered. I saw over 10 doctors, and only 3 out of 10 were even willing to attempt the revision/corrective surgery.
Dr. Miklos not only took his personal time to talk with me, but through his confidence he gave me hope. Dr. Miklos and his staff went beyond the call of duty and helped to restore what no other doctor would even attempt. I am very pleased with the corrective surgery, and I would recommend Dr. Miklos to my friends and family.
From Georgia
I cannot praise Drs. Miklos and Moore enough. Their expertise, professionalism, compassion, and genuine concern for my well-being were a comfort to me during a rough time. They took as much time as necessary to fully explain all problems and their solutions. I now feel better that I have ever since I had my children 35 years ago.

I love my NEW Vagina! On a scale of 1-10, I give my overall experience a 20! From my initial phone call to the actual surgery & post-op appointment, the office staff and Dr. Miklos have been fantastic. Everything about this process (from traveling to Atlanta, then having my surgery the next day) was so easy. I have so much more confidence now. I feel so much better about myself, not only aesthetically but physically as well. Professionally I have to wear a wetsuit or a swim suit and before it would hurt and become uncomfortable. I love to be fit and work out and it also made it unbearable to wear tight clothes. Now it is such a HUGE difference. I no longer hurt or are embarrassed in tight clothing or my wet suit. I feel like a new person. My only regret is not doing this surgery sooner!

by S.S. - Atlanta, GA (Excess Prepuce Removal)
My husband and I traveled to several centers all across the country including the one in Beverly Hills, however, we were most comfortable and confident with the surgeons (and the care) I received at Atlanta Urogynecology. (I am a very active woman and after having several children I just wasn't the same anymore).† Drs. Moore and Miklos are wonderful, gifted surgeons and have changed my life! I am much more comfortable with my appearance. I don't leak urine anymore and our sex life is back to being fabulous! I would recommend the surgery for any woman who has suffered the consequences of vaginal childbirth!"

When I wanted to find a Doctor who could fix my problem, the name that kept getting referred to me was Dr. Miklos. My OB, my plastic surgeon, along with 2 different friends of plastic surgeons highly recommended him. I was very pleased with the way Dr. Miklos and his staff handled my case, from the first consult visit, the phone calls to set-up my procedure, the pre-op appt. and phone calls, the surgery itself, post-op follow up phone calls from the nurse everything was conducted first-class. All of my questions and concerns were dealt with during my consult. Dr. Miklos was very personable and aware of my concerns and knew what exactly I wanted the final product to look like. I could not be more pleased with the end result. Such precision and detail. I am a new woman with so much confidence. I wish I had taken care of this years ago! Thank you Dr. Miklos and his staff!!
