As I was just thinking about getting back into blogging more frequently and starting to collect topics I could talk about, Sunday was one of the most horrible things to happen in a long while with the death of nine people in a helicopter crash in California, which included the Legend Kobe Bryant and his daughter, future Legend, 13 year old Gianni Bryant who probably could have one day been a big WNBA star!
Only God knows our destiny, but situations like this really makes everyone stop for a few minutes and think. It makes many realize how precious life is. How precious our family and friends are and I know I want The Most High God to know I am thankful for His Mercy and grace.
I try to get up every morning and praise God. I pray and thank him for his blessings and I always pray for my husband and children and grandchildren. Serving God and my family are two of the most important things to me and I hope if you are reading this and you are NOT close to God that you seek the Lord and ask Him in your life. I had to share with readers what one of my teachers, Bro. Elijah Israel shared on Facebook with the news of Kobe Bryant, he shared to scripture Ecclessiates 9:2. The media had reported Kobe had a strained relationship with his mother and I know she is so sad she didn’t try to mend the relationship and enjoy her son, and grandchildren as much as she could. This makes sense why the bible says in Ephesians 4: 26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
– because no one knows what the next day will bring.
I am praying for all the families affected by the terrible crash. So many celebrities and reports are being shared throughout all media expressing their sorrow and memories of Kobe Bryant.
RIP Kobe, Gianni and all the people who died in the crash.
