Everyone’s favorite, the one and only, Peter Parker or should I say Andrew Garfield has dated a fair share of women throughout his life. From the unavoidable love match with Emma Stone to a short fling with Aisling Bea, Andrew has dated around for quite some time.
Let’s dive into the actor’s love interests.
Andrew Garfield took his first baby steps in dating Shannon Woodward. Shannon and Andrew met in 2008 and instantly clicked, leading to a four-year relationship. The couple called it quits due to Andrew’s hectic and never-ending schedule, which became more jam-packed after he started filming The Amazing Spider-Man.
In an interview, Andrew said, “I think my girlfriend is proud of me and the fact that I’ve remained grounded. I’m just busier. That’s the main thing.”
“I haven’t got as much time to mope about and complain that I’m bored. She travels with me when she’s not working”.
Several critics online made the claim that Andrew broke up with his beau due to his intense chemistry with Emma Stone which both actors discovered while filming The Amazing Spider-Man together. In 2021, Andrew told Teen Vogue that he felt an “instant connection” with the actress.
Just like everything other Spiderman co-stars, Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield got together, and their relationship lasted for 5 years, ending in 2015.
After breaking up with Emma Stone in 2015, Andrew Garfield took a much-needed break from dating. After almost 3 years, he made a comeback to the dating scene and got into a relationship with Susie Abromeit.
The relationship status was confirmed in September 2018, when Susie and Andrew were seen getting cozy with each other in Malibu.
The famous singer and musician Rita Ora and Andrew Garfield were seen holding hands in London, a few months after actors rendezvous with Susie Abromeit. It didn’t take long for things to get heated up between the two with Rita characterizing their relationship as the “real deal”.
However, unfortunately, all good things sometimes come to an end and so did their relationship which fizzled out by March 2019.
Andrew Garfield was supposedly on a dating streak because right after breaking up with Rita Ora, the Spiderman lead was seen laughing with the actor and comedian, during a performance of Hamilton in London. In a picture that was uploaded on Twitter by a fan, Andrew had his arms around Aisling and they seemed pretty close.
However, it should be noted that their relationship was never confirmed.
Now this was a confirmed relationship. The duo was seen together in November 2021 in New York City.
But apparently, they have been together for quite some time before going public. Following their public appearance, the couple also went Insta official.
However, it didn’t last long because of the duos’ busy schedules.
The Bridgeton star Phoebe Dynevor was seen together with Andrew Garfield at GQ’s Men of the Year Award in 2022. Due to immediate attraction, the pair got together during the after-party.
According to an unknown source, “They know each other through various acquaintances in the business and have plenty in common. But this is certainly no one-off encounter. After leaving together, they’ve since met up and are acting like a proper couple”.
The common belief is that exes can never be friends, but Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone are perfect examples of the opposite. On the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Andrew Garfield explained how nobody knew about his role in Spiderman: No Way Home and he had to lie to his now-friend, then ex, Emma Stone.
This interaction was enough to tell everyone about the friendly relationship between the duo even after they broke up.
According to Andrew Garfield, he was supposed to be the first one to get married in his friend group. However, fate had other plans.
Hollywood career got in the way of achieving the picture-perfect dream of Andrew of having a loving wife and children. The 41-year-old actor is also known to regret letting Emma Stone slip away from his fingers and feels immense guilt over breaking up with her as he thinks that the now-married actress was the love of his life.
Dissecting Andrew Garfields’ relationship patterns, one thing we know for sure is that he loves to date fellow co-stars and those who are related to Hollywood. The only exception was his recent relationship with Dr. Kate Thomas but that also ended after a little while.
This trend makes sense as Andrew and his girlfriends of the past have shared a similar lifestyle that is more befitting for the Hollywood arena. Another mention-worthy insight about his relationships is that when it’s a serious one, the media will know about it.
Almost all of Andrews’s relationships, at least the ones we know about, were full-on supported by his friends and family. The one recent instance was when Andrew went on a double date with friend Pheobe Bridgers and her boyfriend, Bo Burnham.
Andrew, in an array of interviews, has mentioned how important his friends are to him, and he also respects their opinions and wishes.
One thing we know about Andrew Garfield is that the guy’s a gentleman. Messy breakups and Andrew don’t go hand in hand, which is one of the reasons why he’s on friendly terms with almost all of his exes.
At the time of his breakup with Emma Stone, the masses assumed that the duo had a harsh falling out but this couldn’t be far from the truth.
Besides Andrew’s electrifying romance with his girlfriends, the guy is also known for eye-catching and too-real on-screen chemistry with his cast mates. We all are well aware of the sizzling chemistry between Spiderman and Gwen, right?
In the recently released movie, “We Live in Time”, the raw and vulnerable acting of Andrew and Florence has blown away the audience reminding us once again how Andrew and his main lead always steal the show.
In the recent Chicken Shop Date episode with Amelia Dimoldenberg, Andrew Garfield was nothing but smiley throughout the entire interview. The duo engaged in fun banter and made sarcastic comments.
Fans after watching the Chicken Shop Date episode have gone crazy commenting things like, “I’m convinced this will be the last Chicken Shop Date since they are obviously meant for each other and will never date anyone else again”.

So, what does the future hold for Andrew Garfield? Will he spend the next few years finding his place in the world, as he recently said in an interview, “I don’t know where my calling is?”
Or does his future involve a humorous blond who runs a chicken shop? Well, only time can tell. Andrew isn’t dating right now, but you know who is? Jana Kramer.
