The cast of the famous TV show “Baywatch” has come back together for a new docuseries.
The original group members get together in the documentary to talk about their time on the show.
The show looks at how “Baywatch” affected pop culture and the personal lives of the cast.

At the opening of the documentary “After Baywatch : Moment in the Sun” at The Bungalow in Santa Monica on Monday, August 27, 2024, the cast of the hit 90s show Baywatch got back together.
Some of the people who came were Carmen Electra, 52, Nicole Eggert, 52, and Alexandra Paul, 61.
Eggert, who is fighting breast cancer , had her hair cut very short and wore a black cami with blue jeans.
Electra wore a white bandeau top and a silk jumpsuit. Paul looked classy in a long black dress that was partly see-through.
The documentary shows how the stars of Baywatch lived after the show stopped in 2001.
From 1989 to 1999, the show ran and followed the lives of lifeguards who worked on the beaches of Los Angeles County.
Pamela Anderson, 57, who played the famous character C.J. Parker, was not at the meeting at all.
From 1992 to 1994, Nicole Eggert played Summer Quinn on Baywatch. Since December, she has been fighting a cruel type of breast cancer.
She just recently said that more cancer has been found in her lymph nodes, even though she is still getting treatment.
Eggert has been honest about her problems and told people to get mammograms and do self-exams.
Traci Bingham, 56, who played Jordan Tate, Brande Roderick, 50, who played Kelly Slater, Erika Eleniak, 54, who played Shauna McClain, and Jeremy Jackson, 43, who played Hobie Buchannon, were also there.
The documentary will be available to watch on Hulu on August 28. It includes a Pamela Anderson interview that has never been shown before, home videos of the cast, and footage that has never been seen before.
The four-part series “After Baywatch: Moment in the Sun” looks at how the show caught the legend of California’s beach culture, set standards for physical beauty for a whole generation, and made money off of the saying “sex sells.”
Nicole Eggert, Carmen Electra, Alexandra Paul, and David Hasselhoff, 71, who acted in the show from 1989 to 1999, are among the cast members and directors who have been interviewed for the series.
Another story is that a live-action remake of Baywatch is being planned for TV. From 1999 to 2001, the original show was remade as Baywatch Hawaii, with Jason Momoa as the lead. From 1995 to 1997, Baywatch Nights, a spin-off show, ran.

Matthew Felker, the director and executive producer, says that the group was afraid to talk about their experiences in public because they had been criticized in the past.

Cameras were falling backward and down the stairs in London while she and her crew were there to promote Baywatch. “ I looked behind me and thought, ‘Who are they shooting?'” Then it hits you that it is you.”
In the docuseries, the cast members will talk openly about their lives, including the good and bad things that came with being famous.
Alexandra Paul, Jason Simmons, Jeremy Jackson, David Charvet, Yasmine Bleeth, and Gregory Alan Williams are in the group.
Along with that, the docuseries gives the stars a chance to talk about how the show changed their lives and pop culture.
Douglas Schwartz, who created the show, says that at its peak, 1.2 billion people watched “Baywatch” every week, which is more than any other show in video game history.
Lastly, Nicole Eggertsaid making the docuseries has given her a sense of purpose since she was told she has breast cancer.
A new version of the old TV show “Baywatch” is being made at Fox. A plot and punishment deal has already been agreed upon.
The new show will be made by Fremantle and Fox Entertainment together, and it will be “action-packed” like the first one.
The remake was first talked about in April when Fremantle said they wanted to bring the show back to life.
The new “Baywatch” will be about a new generation of lifeguards who have to deal with complicated personal lives while also saving lives in the ocean and chasing criminals.
The show will have famous red swimming suits and clean beaches. Lara Olsen will write and host the show.
Olsen will also be an executive producer, along with Michael Berk, Greg Bonan, and Doug Schwartz, who created the original “Baywatch” series.
The first season of “Baywatch” saved lives, fought crime, and went on crazy adventures. The show became famous for its slow-motion scenes and a big deal in pop culture while it was on.
There was also a spin-off show called “Baywatch Nights” and a reunion movie called “Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding” that ran for two hours.
A movie based on “Baywatch” came out in 2017 and starred Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron, and Alexandra Daddario.
A release date has not been set for the new version, but it is likely to start on Fox.
