A gifted collection of country musicians will perform at many events building to the big finale—the fireworks shows—this Fourth of July.
Among the brilliant roster scheduled to play at the venerable Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks extravaganza, carried live on NBC and Peacock are Lainey Wilson, The War & Treaty, Brandy Clark, and Mickey Guyton.
These country music icons will bring to the celebration their distinctive sounds and enthusiastic performances, thereby defining the tone for an evening of song, patriotism, and amazing fireworks.
Nashville, Tennessee music city is getting ready for an amazing July 4th celebration with a roster of gifted musicians and artists.
Multi-platinum worldwide artist Chris Young , well-known for his outstanding resume including Grand Ole Opry membership and many ACM, AMA, CMA, and GRAMMY nominations, is heading the event.
Chris Young is certain to get the audience singing along with his explosive show and chart-topping tunes.
Chris Young’s on-stage accompaniment is Yola, a six-time GRAMMY-nominated musician, composer, and actress with critical praise and breakthrough success.
NPR has called her most recent album, “Stand For Me,” the “best soul record of the past 20 years,” and she has been named among the most fascinating and creative musicians of today.
The Nashville audience will be very impressed by Yola’s strong voice and genre-fluid approach.
Additionally performing at the event is Girl Named Tom, the sister three that created history as the only group to win NBC’s “ The Voice“.
Their amazing harmonies and chart-rattling covers have produced over 25 million streams and seen over 200gigs so far.
Their distinctive harmony will only keep resounding louder when their new song is released in 2024.

The Philadelphia region will host Willie Nelson ‘s Fourth of July Picnic for the first time.
Beginning in 1973, the event will take place in Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden, New Jersey, somewhat outside of Philadelphia .
Along with Willie Nelson, this year’s festival will include an amazing array of musicians like Lukas Nelson, Bob Dylan, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, Mared Morris, Mavis Staples, and Celisse.
The relocation to Philadelphia represents a turning point in the history of the 4th of July Picnic, which has been celebrated in Texas for much of its 50-year existence.
First hosting the event in 1973 at Hurlbut Ranch in Dripping Springs, Texas, was 91-year-old Willie Nelson.
The picnic has seen a great spectrum of performers throughout the years, including Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson, The Charlie Daniels Band, Rita Coolidge, and Leon Russell.
This will be the first time the event takes place in the Philadelphia region, even though it was staged outside of Texas previously at sites including The Gorge in Quincy, Washington, and Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.
“ It’s an honor to host such an amazing lineup of talent in the birthplace of our country,” Nelson said, expressing his thrill about organizing the event.
Celebrating Independence Day with you excites us. For music enthusiasts of all ages, the 4th of July Picnic is much awaited and guarantees an amazing experience.
This year’s event is predicted to be one for the books given its long history and outstanding roster.
Teams of pyrotechnic professionals gathered to test the newest advancements in pyrotechnics technology in the sweltering desert heat.
Time the explosions exactly for the next Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks display. Testing more than 200 brand-new shells, a tiny sampling of the 60,000 shells needed to illuminate the night sky throughout the 25-minute display.
Under executive producer Will Coss and pyrotechnic designer Gary Souza, the crew has been collaborating for decades to provide an outstanding event.
Approved by the Federal Aviation Agency only weeks before, this year’s show promises to be the most amazing ever, including the nation’s first-ever fireworks on drone display.
The Souza family has been in business for one hundred years; the fifth and sixth generations are here at the exam.
They travel all year visiting manufacturers all over in quest of the newest and best pyrotechnics.
Working in “lockstep” to provide a very unique experience, the partnership with Macy’s has become a relationship. Top performers will perform live on the program, and Jason Howland—known for his Broadway work—will write the music.
From the Hudson River, a fresh site with a greater area for bigger shells—the fireworks will blast.
The team expects to maintain the notable rise in audience last year. For Coss, the chance to create the legendary production is a “dream come true.”
Though only for a short period, he thinks the Fourth of July celebration may unite people.
One thing is certain as the crew works nonstop to polish the show: this year’s Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks will be a remarkable pyrotechnics and creative display.
With a star-studded roster of country music singers, Macy’s 48th annual 4th of Jul Fireworks extravaganza is sure to wow viewers.
Graced the event last year, Lainey Wilson returns to the Big Apple with The War & Treaty, Brandy Clark, and Mickey Guyton. On Thursday, July 4, fans may see the festivity on NBC and Peacock at 8 PM ET.
Known for their strong voices and dynamic performances, the War & Treaty will be on stage in New York City working alongside their country music contemporaries.
