Who says celebrities can’t be part of change? This year, just like every time, celebrities showed us how much they care about the people and the world around them.
From Mark Ruffalo, and Hailey Bieber, to Alec Baldwin, we got stars from all around the world exercising their right to vote and using it for good. Keep reading and find out which of your favorite stars voted for this election.
Lady Gaga for the longest time has used her platform to raise awareness about various political issues. This year was no different with the singer actively advocating for change and urging her followers to do the same.
Gaga posted a picture on Instagram with the caption, “Let’s do this,” while wearing an “I Voted” badge on her leather jacket. This showed the singer’s commitment to voting.
Mark Ruffalo is known for his environmental activism and definite stance on social and political issues. In the 2024 election, Mark especially used his platform to advocate for climate change, income inequality, and political corruption.
With a picture the actor posted on Instagram, he also gave out the number that voters can text if they need to find a polling place. His participation in the elections also encouraged the actor’s fans to do the same.
Known for her iconic role in “Wonder Woman”, Lynda Carter has used her platform to raise awareness about women’s rights and the need for more political engagement. In this year’s election, Lynda urged her followers to vote and emphasized its importance.
She shared a picture in which the actress was covered in the US flag cloth and wrote a caption that said, “Women unite! Vote for reproductive freedom!”. Carter has also been a supporter of veteran issues and progressive policies.
The “Just Give Me a Reason” singer took active participation in raising awareness for the 2024 election. On Instagram, she said, “We have to use our voices if we want a world that reflects who we are. “

Everyone’s favorite, Jennifer Aniston, aka Rachel from Friends, used her Instagram platform to spread the message of change. She penned a detailed caption on the app, saying, “Today not only did I vote for access to health care, reproductive freedom, equal rights, safe schools, and a fair economy, but also for SANITY and HUMAN DECENCY.”
“Please remember that whoever you are and wherever you live, your voice matters. Your VOTE matters”.
Selena Gomez shared a PSA on X guiding all those voters who were casting their ballots as Election Day came to a close. She said in the video that was then posted on X, “Hey guys, I hear that there are really, really long lines today.”
“And I just wanted to make this video really quick to say: Please stay in the line, long lines are really frustrating and annoying, and I know they’re not fun, but we need your voice and vote for your future.”
With the caption, “Today is that day, make America unafraid again, reasonable again, kind again, admired again”, the actor once again didn’t back away from his duty as a US citizen. Alec Baldwin has always had outspoken views and took part in political activism.
He, at several places, voiced a need to change and the importance of standing up for yourself. Baldwin’s engagement in the elections highlights his relentless commitment to the cause.
With a caption that said, “Made a selfie shoot outta it, but this mom of 3, feminist, cat lover, daughter of immigrants voted for Kamala Harris”, Zoe Saldana once again inspired her followers to vote. She emphasizes the importance of making one’s voice feel heard.
And there’s no better way to do so than by voting. Her involvement in the election further highlights her role as an advocate for social and political activism.
Nothing but queen behavior was expected from Queen Latifah and she stayed true to her values. Queen Latifah put extra effort into her voting day outfit and paired it with a white and black beaded chocker that spelled out “vote” in the middle.

Zoë Kravitz, throughout her life as an actor, has been seen speaking for issues like racial justice and environmentalism. The actress posted a picture of her sipping her morning beverage, which showed off an “I vote” badge.
Kratviz has always emphasized the power of change, which can only happen through democracy and voting for it. This call to action of hers especially resonated with young voters.
Katy Perry went on to post a video of her with none other than Kamala Harris and a clever caption that said, “This is Kamala Harris and she’s gonna be..well.. We’re the only ones who can finish this sentence”.
Over the years Katy has used her platform to raise awareness for mental health issues and women empowerment. Katy has always believed in the power of voting.

Ahead of election day, Reese posted a picture on Instagram with a caption that said, “I want to protect democracy at all costs, I love my country and no matter what happens in this election, I’m here to move our great nation forward in a unified way”.
Witherspoons’ message was a reflection of her efforts to speak up for causes like gender equality and social justice. The actress firmly believes that change can only happen through democratic action.
Demi in a sweet selfie with her dog, pilaf, shared a motivating message through Instagram that said, “Voting is such an important part of our democracy.”She also wrote, “Don’t forget to exercise your right to vote”.
Moore has always been at the forefront of advocating for matters like addiction recovery, gender equality, and mental health awareness. She is also known for speaking about vulnerable communities.
Orange is the new black actress Danielle Brooks has been advocating for body positivity and racial justice several times. This year, she used her platform to urge her fans to vote.
She actively participated in the 2024 election. Brooks shared a picture on Instagram with her husband and a caption that said, “We voted; please do the same.”
Known for his roles in Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World, Chris Pratt participated in the 2024 election and motivated his fans to do the same. He shared an election-day selfie on Instagram.
And a caption that said, “I got a sticker”. And went on to say, “Scratch and sniff, feels like freedom”.
