The wildfires in LA have been nothing short of devastating, leaving thousands of homes burned to the ground and tragically claiming lives. As flames continued to ravage the city, 200,000 people were forced to evacuate, and the destruction is still unfolding.
Celebrities, millionaires, and companies are stepping up. Some are donating millions, while others are rolling up their sleeves to deliver supplies.
It’s all hands on deck to help the survivors rebuild, showing how Hollywood is coming together in the face of disaster.
Beyoncé stepped up, donating $2.5 million to the LA Wildfire Relief Fund through her charity, BeyGood. The fund will aid families in Altadena and Pasadena and support churches and community centers.
After her mother, Tina Knowles, lost her Malibu bungalow, the gesture feels even more personal. Tina called it her “sanctuary” and “happy place.”
Kylie Jenner, the youngest Kardashian-Jenner, shared that she’s making a donation to the California Fire Foundation Wildfire & Disaster Relief Fund. While the exact amount hasn’t been disclosed, her support will contribute to recovery efforts in the affected areas.
Selena Gomez has also made a significant contribution, donating $5 million to the Southern California Wildfire Relief Fund.

Berry quickly joined in, commenting, “I’m there,” and later shared her own post on January 9, showing she was “packing up [her] entire closet.” The two stars are making a difference by giving their fashion finds to help those in need.
Tim Cook, CEO of Apple, announced on X that the company will be donating to support wildfire victims and recovery efforts. Though the exact amount hasn’t been specified, the tech giant’s involvement will make a significant impact.

Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla, are stepping up to support those impacted by the Los Angeles fires. In a January 9 post on Threads, he confirmed they are personally donating to the cause.
“Meta is giving to the relief efforts, and Priscilla and I are personally as well,” Zuckerberg shared, Although he did not specify the amount.
Entertainment companies have played a significant role in supporting wildfire relief efforts. Fox Corp. is among the leaders in this initiative, pledging $1 million to the American Red Cross’ relief fund.
By encouraging their viewers to contribute as well, Fox is helping amplify the efforts to provide vital assistance to those affected by the fires.
Disney has committed a generous $15 million in aid to those affected by the wildfires. The funds will support organizations like the American Red Cross, the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, and the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank.
Additionally, Disney will provide resources to any affected employees, ensuring that their team members receive the support they need during this difficult time.
Paramount has pledged $1 million to wildfire relief, supporting organizations like the American Red Cross and World Central Kitchen. The donation will also benefit the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation and the California Fire Foundation.
In addition, Paramount is contributing to Direct Relief and Best Friends Animal Society, ensuring both people and animals affected by the fires receive vital support.
Netflix and Comcast NBCUniversal have both pledged $10 million to support victims of the LA-area wildfires. Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos shared that the company’s donation will be split among five organizations, including World Central Kitchen and the LAFD Foundation.
Comcast Corporation Chairman and CEO Brian L. Roberts allocated $2.5 million of its $10 million commitment to Habitat for Humanity’s ReBUILD LA initiative. The rest of the funds will support other charitable foundations working to help those affected by the fires.
Online retail giant Amazon has committed $10 million to disaster response groups, including the Red Cross and World Central Kitchen, Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, and others to support LA fire LAlief efforts.
They’re also providing advertising slots on Prime Video for nonprofits aiding in recovery. The company’s generous contribution aims to help both local and national organizations, ensuring vital resources reach those in need.
