On stage during his 2019 Heartache Medication tour, Jon proposed to Summer; they were married on November 21, 2020, at Saddle Woods Farm in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

The COVID pandemic forced them to postpone their Montana original wedding plans.

“ We had a friend who was married at Saddle Woods last year, and when we walked into their wedding, Jon said, ‘This is the most amazing wedding and venue ever,'”Summer told in an interview.

“So, when we had to postpone our destination wedding, they were the first place we contacted knowing we had to keep things closer to home”.

After all the planning and preparation, we were glad we could be married; there is never a suitable moment for that in 2020.”
