When it became known that the Dr. Phil show was going tofeature an obsessed fanwho was divorcing her husband because she was in love with Kip Moore, Carol Hughes (KFDI/Scripps Radio) decided to ask the singer about it before the CMA Awards earlier this month.
He was pretty chill about the whole weird situation.
“I had to put together a statement and I … I wish him and her all the best. I just, I just play my music,” he said, obviously as flabbergasted about the whole thing as the rest of us were when we found out about the show.
