Lea Michele is a beautiful actress and singer, and she and her husband Zandy Reich just had their second child.
As Michele becomes a mother again, she thinks back on her journey and shares important lessons she learned from her first child.

Lea Michele and her husband Zandy Reich have a daughter named Emery Sol Reich. She is their second child.
The former Glee star shared the happy news on Instagram with a picture of her family holding the baby’s tiny leg.
Lea and Zandy got married in 2019 and already have a 3-year-old son named Ever. On March 20, 2024, Lea posted pictures of her growing baby bump on Instagram to let people know she was pregnant.
In a post for Mother’s Day two months later, she revealed that she and Zandy were going to have a girl. Lea’s goals have changed a lot with this new stage.
She has said in the past that she had spent so much of her life focussing only on her work. Lea has been honest about how hard it is to be a mother and work at the same time.
When she went back to work for the Spring Awakening reunion show a year after having Ever, she said she felt like a bad mum. She has also talked about how important it is for her to show her son that she loves her job.
When Funny Girl came back, Lea was on stage again. But she took a short break from the show when Ever had a health scare in March 2023.
She was glad to be able to tell him that her son was getting better a month later. Lea and Zandy’s journey began in July 2017,when they were first paired emotionally. In April 2018,they said “I do,” and in March 2019,they got married.
They have been very open about their love for each other. Lea has called Zandy “The One” and written him sweet notes on social media .
Along with photos of their honeymoon, Lea and Zandy have also shared peeks of their life. In March 2019, they made their first public appearance as husband and wife at the GLAAD Media Awards.
Lea told in April 2020 that she was pregnant with their first child, and they have loved every moment of being parents since then.
Lea Michele thought about her first child, Ever, who was born in 2020, as she went through her second pregnancy.
In an interview with Scary Mommy on July 30, 2024,she talked about what she had learned about being a mother, such as how important it is to take care of yourself and be ready.
Since Ever was born, Michele’s life has changed a lot. She moved from California to New York, played Fanny Brice on Broadway again in Funny Girl, and was named one of Time’s “100 Most Influential People.”
She had also learned important things about being a mother, like how to take care of herself and be ready.
At first, Michele was worried and anxious that her baby might get sick, but with her second pregnancy, she felt more sure of herself and ready.
She felt more confident after her pediatrician told her to stock up on Children’s Tylenol and after having experiences with Ever.
Ever, who turned four years old in August 2024, was excited to have a brother.
While she was pregnant with her first child, Michele sang him songs like “Here Comes the Sun” and “Sweet Child of Mine,” which she later put on an album called Forever in 2021.
But since then, Ever’s music choices have grown to include songs like “ Call Me Maybe” by Carly Rae Jepsen.
Michele liked to play “ the baby name game”and had thought of a lot of names for her second child.
Although it was linked to Celine Dion , she loved the name Celine but decided not to use it. She thought it was a beautiful name.
Along with her husband and friends, she had helped choose a name by giving them a list of possible names and asking them what they thought.
Because she knew she could only do her best 80–90% of the time, Michele had learned to let go of the idea that she had to be perfect as a mum.
At first, she wanted to raise her kids in a fully natural and healthy way, but she has since become more open-minded and practical.
In July, Lea Michele said on Katherine Schwarzenegger’s “BDA Baby” podcast that she had been diagnosed with endometriosis after having three early miscarriagesbefore getting pregnant with her second child, Emery.
Before she got pregnant for the first time, Michele had been treated for polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
Aside from being a mother, Michele thought her role in “ Funny Girl ” was one of the best things she has ever done in her work and her personal life.
It was hard for her to balance work and motherhood while she was in the show, and she often missed putting her son to bed.
She did bring him to school, though, even when she had two shows at the same time.
As Michele in “Funny Girl,” she had a miscarriage and had to deal with endometriosis pain on stage.
She had surgery to fix the problem before starting IVF treatment.Even with these problems, Michele is proud of herself for not giving up and is thankful for what she has been through.
Michele has had some problems on her way to becoming a mother, but she is open about having endometriosis and PCOS and uses her fame to bring attention to these conditions. She went to Tenafly High School and was born Lea Michele Sarfati.
