Lynn Massey, Loretta Lynn’s first granddaughter, died after a long and hard fight with illness on August 23. Her family is very sad about her death.
The family thanked everyone for their thoughts and love on Loretta’s public Instagram page, where the news was posted.
Bertie Sue, Loretta’s first child, died in 2013 at the age of 64 from the effects of asthma. Lynn Massey was her daughter. As a singer, Betty Sue had made her way into the music business.
She wrote some of Loretta’s most famous songs, like “The Home You are Tearin’ Down” and “Wine, Women, and Song.” Loretta Lynn had her first baby when she was 34 years old.
Lynn was named after her grandma. A lot of Lynn Massey’s friends and fans remembered her on Instagram by saying nice things about her.
The singer Jewel sent her sympathy, writing,“Sending so much love…” A friend also wrote, “So very sorry for your family’s loss.” May everyone find comfort.”
“ Betty Sue was a Very Sweet Young Lady,” wrote another fan. It was nice to talk to her. She could sing. “I loved Lis.”
Loretta Lynn died before her granddaughter did. She was 90 yearsold and died on October 4, 2022.
No one in Lynn’s family has said anything about her illness or death.

In an interview with PEOPLEmagazine, Tayla talked about her journey . She said, “I made a record, people respect me, and standing on stage with my little boys watching me is just incredible.
I used to get arrested in the projects, weigh 82 pounds, and sell my body for drugs.” I would not be here if I was not sober.
Tre Twitty, the grandson of Conway Twitty , often plays and tours with Tayla Lynn, who is also a singer.
