Miranda Lambert’s ex-husband is Blake Shelton. They were married from 2011 to 2015. Both are well-known country music artists, and their relationship, as well as their subsequent divorce, received significant media attention.
Lambert and Shelton announced their divorce after four years of marriage. The split was finalized quickly, and they both requested privacy during this time.
Both artists have spoken publicly about the pain of their divorce. Their music during and after their split often reflected their struggles and emotions related to their relationship.
“We are real people, with real lives, with real family, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter.”
Fresh from her electrifying performance at the Stagecoach Festival with country icon Reba McEntire , Miranda Lambert turned up the heat at the ACM Awards on Thursday night.
The crowd erupted as she delivered a scorching rendition of her latest single, “Wranglers,” marking her first new release in two years.
This isn’t your grandma’s country tune. “Wranglers” is a slow-burning powerhouse, an anthem for anyone looking to reclaim their strength and, perhaps, seek a bit of payback against those who’ve wronged them.
With the unwavering support of her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, Lambert continues to shine brightly in her career, proving that her star power is as fierce as ever.
Through her partnership with Lone River Beverage Co., she’s putting two of her mentees, Ashley Cooke and Kameron Marlowe, center stage at Lone River’s ACM kickoff event, Lone River Collective held on May 15th.
This event wasn’t just about music; it showcased the best of country and Texas culture, featuring Miranda Lambert and Lone River’s founder and CEO Katie Beal Brown, along with the launch of Blackberry Ranch Water – a nod to Lambert’s hometown of Lindale, formerly the Blackberry Capital of the World.
Lambert, who dropped her new single “ Wranglers” earlier this month, also revealed to PEOPLE at the Lone River Collective event that she finds her “ downtime” in spending time with her animals.
“Animals are great,” she says. “ That’s my downtime. I have a house in Austin, so I’m there a lot. That’s where we’re headed for a couple of weeks to do some work stuff and see family.”
She adds, ” But my animals are all in Tennessee outside of Nashville and so that’s where I sort of go recharge my batteries. But everybody’s good. Yeah, there’s no downtime. We’re working right now, but it’s good. It’s a good thing.”
Adding to her busy schedule, Miranda Lambert is set to combine two of her passions—music and dogs—by hosting an upcoming benefit concert on October 5 in Nashville. The event aims to raise funds for animal welfare .
The five-time ACM Awards Album of the Year winner will welcome many of her animal-loving friends and fellow musicians to perform with her at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater.
The concert, presented by Tractor Supply Company, will have its net proceeds benefiting Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation.
The full lineup of participating artists will be announced at a later date.
