As she turned 41 on Sunday, November 10, country music icon Miranda Lambert wasn’t just blowing out candles.
She was showing off a surprising new skill that fans didn’t see coming.
While we all know her as a powerhouse vocalist and devoted animal lover, Lambert just revealed a new hobby she’s been working on, thanks to her husband, Brendan McLoughlin.
Along with his sweet birthday tribute on Instagram, Brendan let fans in on a little-known fact: Miranda’s been honing her golf skills, and it looks like she’s becoming a natural on the green!
In one of the videos that Brendan posted, we see Miranda confidently taking a swing at the golf range. To everyone’s surprise , she’s got pretty solid form!
It’s clear she’s put some practice into her new pastime, and Brendan was quick to share how excited he is to have her as a golf buddy.
He lovingly described her as his “ soon-to-be the most fun golf partner,” hinting that they’ve likely shared some quality time together on the course already.
While Lambert might be relatively new to golf, she’s clearly approaching it with the same enthusiasm she brings to her music and other hobbies.
Who knows? Maybe the next big celebrity golf tournament will feature Miranda competing with country stars for the best swing!
Of course, it wouldn’t be a true Miranda Lambert celebration without a nod to her love for animals.
Brendan’s birthday post included a series of photos and videos that capture Miranda in her happy place—surrounded by her four-legged friends.
In one shot, she’s hugging a horse, and in another, she’s bending down to give a lucky cat some ear scratches.
It’s no surprise to fans who know how dedicated Miranda is to animal rescue and advocacy.
Through her foundation, MuttNation , Miranda has rescued and re-homed countless dogs and promoted adoption events nationwide.
And it gets even cuter! One video shows her cuddling up on the couch with a big, fluffy dog, showering it with compliments.
“You’re so pretty. You did amazing. You looked beautiful, and you were posing… you were great,” she gushes, clearly smitten.
This clip alone shows that Miranda’s love for animals isn’t just a part of her image—it’s truly who she is.
Brendan McLoughlin’s heartfelt words for Miranda were the icing on the cake.
Alongside his collection of photos and videos, Brendan wished Miranda the happiest of birthdays, calling her “the most selfless, loving, and genuine person”he knows.
He went on to list her many wonderful qualities: “You are the most amazing animal mom, the best life partner, the most adventurous travel partner… Wishing you the best of birthdays,”he wrote, leaving fans swooning at the sweet bond they share.
Since they married in 2019, Brendan has been a constant source of support and adventure in Miranda’s life.
He often appears on her social media posts, and the couple loves sharing glimpses of their spontaneous, love-filled life together.
Among Brendan’s birthday photos were snaps of the couple’s travels, another passion that has become central to their relationship .
They’ve taken vacations across the U.S., from scenic road trips to city adventures, and most recently, they explored Italy together.
The photos show them soaking in the Italian countryside, enjoying the food, and simply taking a break from their busy lives to focus on each other.
This love for travel has been a big part of Miranda and Brendan’s bond, and they often post photos and stories from their time on the road.
Miranda has even shared that traveling gives her new inspiration for her music, as she finds creativity in new places, people, and experiences.
