Good thoughts going out to Reba McEntireand her family after it was revealed that Reba’s older brother Pake suffered a stroke last week.
Reba shared the news on her Facebook on Saturday.
My big brother, Pake, had back surgery on Thursday, May 13th. Although the surgery went well, he had a stroke later that evening. The stroke caused blood on the brain and swelling. Early this morning, Saturday, they performed a surgery to relieve pressure on his brain. He is currently in ICU, stable and recovering.
We really appreciate all your thoughts and prayers. We’re asking everyone to please give Pake a few days to recover. He needs his rest and the doctors have requested that we keep the foot traffic to a minimum. We know Pake will want visitors when he’s awake and can enjoy all of your new jokes and you getting him caught up on all the news. We will keep you all posted. Keep sending your prayers! Thanks a bunch!
Pake, a country singer in his own right, was signed with RCA back in the 80s. According to Taste of Country, he recently retired from music to ranch full time.

Hey, I'm Shannon and I'm the founder and Queen Bee of this crazy place we call NashvilleGab. A few things about me - I'm pretty much a nerd, I'm obsessive about weird things, I suck at selfies, and I tend to make corny jokes that only truly awesome people will appreciate. Oh, and I'm the queen of the random comma. Don't say I didn't warn you.
We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback about this page with us.
Whether it's praise for something good, or ideas to improve something that
isn't quite right, we're excited to hear from you.
Reba, my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. Hope your brother gets well soon. We love you very much.
