The 2025 Grammy nominations have been announced and we’re here for it. The nominations this time have been not only focused on highlighting the classic singers but also many new ones.
From the OG Billie Eilish, Beyonce, to Kenny Barron, the categories have everyone we love. Keep reading and find out if your favorite artist made it or not.
Record of the Year category reflects tracks that listeners loved listening to all year round, and for the 2025 Grammy nominations, we’ve got a long list. The list includes singers like Sabrina Carpenter, Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, and Charlie XCX.
The Beatles are also included in the category for their famous song, “Now and Then.” Kendrick Lamar also joined the lineup due to his hit “Not Like Us” track.
The 2025 Album of the Year considers a blend of genres and global sounds not just limited to a single track but a whole album—Beyonce’s “Cowboy Carter” combined country and American influences.
Taylor Swift’s, “The Tortured Poets Department” was on the list along with many others including André 3000, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, Charlie XCX, Jacob Collier, and Billie Eilish. The albums are all extremely diverse in range.
Song of the Year Nominees include Beyonce, Billie Eilish (Bird’s of a Feather), Sabrina Carpenter (Please, Please, Please), Bruno Mars, Shaboozey (Tipsy), Chappell Roan (Goodluck Babe), and Kendrick Lamar (Not Like Us). Beyonce’s “Texas Hold ‘Em” has won everyone’s hearts with its easy melody and upbeat tune.
Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’s “Die With a Smile” has also been nominated for song of the year along with Taylor Swifts “Fortnite” feat. Post Malone. This proves the collaboration was rather successful, and people loved seeing these two duos together.
2024 was the year of new talent, with several aspiring artists making their way into the music industry. Shaboozey has been widely recognized for his out-of-the-box approach to rap.
Teddy Swims has got a powerful voice making him an immediate standout amongst the crowd. Other nominees include Benson Boone, Doechii, Sabrina Carpenter, Khruangbin, Shaboozey, and Raye.
For 2025 Producer of the Year, non-classical nominees, we’ve got Alisia at the top of the list. All the nominated producers have made major contributions towards shaping one of the most iconic sounds for the year.
Within the list, besides Alisia, we’ve got Daniel Nigro, Ian Fitchuk, Mustard, and Dernst “D’Mile” Emile II. All these figures are known for pushing boundaries and giving the listeners something unexpected.
For songwriter of the year (non-classical) nominees, we’ve got exceptional talent. Amy Allen has been recognized for her relatable lyrics, while Edgar Barerra has crafted music that resonates with different cultural backgrounds.
Jessi Alexander, celebrated for her classic narrative, and Jessie Jo Dillon, for her powerful storytelling, are also on the list. Of course, the list had to include Raye for her genre-blending approach.
Ariana Grande and Brandy & Monica seemed to have hit a milestone as their remix, “The Boy is Mine” has been nominated for the 2025 Grammy Awards. Other nominations include Beyonce Featuring Post Malone – Levii’s Jeans, and Charlie XCX & Billie Eilish.
We’ve also got Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars once again, along with Gracie Abrams featuring Taylor Swift. These high-energy tracks have done a great job of capturing the essence of modern pop.
Best dance/electronic recording nominees include Disclosure, Four Tet, Fred Again.. & Baby Keem, Justice & Tame Impala were among the talented list of people. Disclosures’, “She’s Gone, Dance On” and Four Tet’s “Loved” energized listeners like none other.
Kaytrandas’ collaboration with Childish Gambino on “Witchy” is the perfect track to boost your boring day. All these singers have songs that are undoubtedly standouts in electronic music.
These nominees list out all those singers who have given a fresh spin to popular tracks. “Von Dutch” remixed by Charli XCX and Addison Rae adds the perfect depth to the original.
Kaytranda and JT’s remix of “Alter Ego” for sure brings a unique groove. “Jah See’s Them” Amapiano remix by Julian Marley and Antaeus introduces listeners to an African house beat and of course we can’t forget about Shaboozey and David Guetta’s “Tipsy” remix along with “Espresso” by Mark Ronson and FNZ.
This nominees list reflects a mix of legendary bands and modern rock artists. The Beatles of course had to be nominated for this category given the popularity of “Now and Then”.
Similarly, The Black Keys is also on the list for their “Beautiful People” along with Green Day. There’s also a mention of Idles, Pearl Jam, and St. Vincent.
An intense and diverse lineup for best metal performance nominees was expected and we got exactly that. Gojira, Marina Viotti, and Victor le Masne were nominated for Mea Culpa while Juda Priests’ “Crown of Horns” was also loved by fans.
Other nominees include Knocked Loose featuring Puppy, Metallica, and Spiritbox. All these nominees and their songs show how well metal is evolving.
This category represents a stellar mix of seasoned artists and innovative takes on classic styles which the fans loved this year. The lineup includes “À Fleur De Peau” by Cyrille Aimée, “Visions” by Norah Jones, and “Good Together” by Lake Street Divine.
Gregory Porter’s “Christmas Wish” and “Impossible Dream” by Aaron Lazar also made it to the list. These nominations are the perfect examples of balancing pop with a contemporary flair.
The best rock song nominations showcase singers who have powerful tracks with a diverse range of themes and musical themes. On top of the list, we’ve got Black Keys and Green Day.
Idles is also on the list for its hit, “Gift Horse” and Pearl Jam for “Dark Matter”. St. Vincent’s “Broken Man” has also got its time to shine.
The 2025 Grammy nominations for Best Pop Vocal Album include all the uprising stars that have made 2024 bearable with their upbeat tunes. On top of the list, we’ve got “Short n’ Sweet” by Sabrina Carpenter, “Hit Me Hard and Soft” by Billie Eilish, and “Eternal Sunshine” by Ariana Grande.
However, the list doesn’t end here. Chappell Roans, “The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess” was also nominated along with Taylor Swift’s “The Tortured Poets Department”.
For best R&B performance nominees, we see Chris Brown’s, “Residuals” finally getting its rightful place. Similarly, Coco Jones, “Here We Go” is also on the list along with Jhené Aiko for her song “Guidance”.
“Made for Me” by Muni Long also made it on the list along with SZA’s, “Saturn”. All these performances on the mentioned songs are Grammy-worthy for sure.

The 2025 Grammy nominees for Best Jazz Instrumental Album include singers who perfected the blend of artistic approach and expressive sounds. Among the nominees are Ambrose Akinmusire and Kenny Baroon for their albums “Owl Song” and “Beyond This Place.”
Chick Corea & Béla Fleck have also earned their name on the list with their hit album, “Remembrance” along with Lakecia Benjamin for “Pheonix Reimagined” and Sullivan Fortner for “Solo Game”.
