On December 10, 2024, the season end of The Voice’s 26th season was a big deal.
The 2018 season was truly unique because it was the first time that all four coaches were represented in the playoffs and each finalist was a four-chair turn.
Five great finalists made it to the final: Shye and Sofronio Vasquez from Team Bublé, Sydney Sterlace from Team Gwen, Danny Joseph from Team Reba, and Jeremy Beloate from Team Snoop.
The audience and judges were amazed by each finalist’s act because they were so talented.
Dan + Shay, Kelly Clarkson, Miles Smith, Riley Green , and Ella Langley were some of the guest acts who performed that night.
There were also emotional duets between the finalists and their coaches. In an amazing end, Filipino singer Sofronio Vasquez won, making history as the first Filipino and second Asian winner of The Voice.
His coach, Michael Bublé , also set a record by becoming the first new coach to win both first and second place. Shye, his other finalist, came in second.
This win not only shows how talented Vasquez is but also shows how important it is to be represented, which has inspired many fans around the world.
During the finals, Michael Bublé praised Vasquez and talked about how he is a source of hope for all Filipinos and Asians.
Bublé told him, “My Filipino brother, you are the hope of so many people, and you represent them so well.” Vasquez’s emotional response when he heard his name called out as the winner showed how far he had come.
He fell to his knees and gave his coach a teary hug. Not only did the finale show off amazing ability, but it also showed how music can bring people together and inspire them.
The finale was an emotional roller coaster with acts that will stay with you forever. Beginning with their solos on Monday night, each finalist gave it their all.
Sofronio Vasquez made his position as a leader by performing stunning versions of both old and new hits.
Sydney Sterlace , meanwhile, sang Gracie Abrams’ “I Love You, I’m Sorry” and Snow Patrol’s “Chasing Cars” with a lot of energy, showing how mature her voice is even though she is only 16 years old.
People in the crowd and other coaches gave Sterlace and Gwen Stefani a standing ovation for their duet on Cat Stevens’ “Wild World.” Shye from Team Bublé also gave amazing efforts that proved he deserved to be in the top two.
A lot of people praised his ability to connect with people through powerful ballads and honest words.
The last two artists, Danny Joseph from Team Reba and Jeremy Beloate from Team Snoop, put on exciting shows that showed off their singing styles.
The best parts of the night were the duets between the winners and their coaches. The performance by Bublé and Vasquez was especially moving, showing how close they are and how much they value each other.
Gwen Stefani was a great teacher because she helped Sterlace give shows that were both technically perfect and emotionally powerful.
Guest artists’ acts with a lot of big names added to the excitement and made the finale an event that people will never forget.
After Sofronio Vasquez’s historic win, The Voice fans were quick to share their joy on social media.

The Voice also went through changes at the end of Season 26. Michael Bublé, Kelsea Ballerini, John Legend, and Adam Levine will all be back as coaches for Season 27.
However, Gwen Stefani , Reba McEntire, and Snoop Dogg will not be back. During his time as a teacher, Snoop Dogg became a fan favorite.

His fans hope that he will come back in later seasons. In the end, it was also announced that Season 27 will start on February 3, 2025.
This season will have new performers and different relationships, and Bublé will continue to make a name for himself as a coach.
