The graduate of the specialty “Organization and Management of Military Formations at the Tactical Level” (specialization “Logistics of the Formations of the Navy”) is ready intellectually, morally and physically, professionally and as a leader for realization as an officer of the logistics structures of the Navy, as a citizen and a specialist in resource management and management of logistics activities.

As a result of the training for 5 years, the graduate acquires:

  • higher education in the specialty “Organization and Management of Military Formations at the Tactical Level” (specialization “Logistics of the Formations of the Navy”) with a Bachelor’s degree in the professional field of “Military Affairs” in the field of higher education “Security and Defense”;
  • higher education in the specialty “Logistics” with an educational and qualification degree “Bachelor” in the professional field of “Transport, Shipping and Aviation” in the field of higher education “Technical Sciences”.

A graduate can hold the positions of commander of a combat unit, sector, section, group of a ship. He can also hold the positions of commander of a group, section, platoon, company in a coastal unit

As career officers, they can improve their qualifications at the school and in foreign military academies and colleges purposefully or for a higher position.

Graduates of the specialty acquire military engineering and other special knowledge and skills in the field of military logistics, methods for applying logistic principles in conducting military operations (national and international), planning of organizations of military logistics structures and their activities, coordination and management, organization of logistics support of ships at sea, in basic conditions and the requirements of the regulatory documents in BA and NATO,  management of human, financial, material, information resources, basic elements of the decision-making process by the commander and the organization and combat use of units, the nature and characteristics of international transport systems, modern logistics technologies for support and material technical support, etc.

Special attention in the training of young cadets is paid to their ability to control stress, build leadership skills by forming teams and managing group processes, make adequate decisions under stress, resolve conflicts and motivate their subordinates.

Cadets master English to a degree satisfying the requirements of STANAG 6001, level 2-2-2-2.

The lectures are combined with various forms of practical training of cadets for acquiring special training, for their moral, mental and physical strengthening and for their growth as leaders.

The main forms of educational activity are:

  • summer camp for sea training;
  • leadership camp;
  • rowing and sailing trips;
  • physical training and swimming training;
  • training practice in military formations of the Navy;
  • overseas sailing practice;
  • training shootings with personal weapons.

The rich educational and material base of the specialty, the library and the access to the resources of the World Wide Web Internet create the necessary conditions for conducting an educational process at a high scientific and applied level in accordance with modern requirements and for active research work.

Simultaneously with military training, cadets also undergo a full course in the necessary academic disciplines to obtain a civilian specialty “Logistics”.

The civil qualification of the graduate allows him to find professional realization in all spheres of the economy with opportunities to occupy positions as expert and administrative staff in organizations dealing with trade, transport, etc. in the logistics sector. The positions that graduates can take cover a wide range of functions, all of which play a key role in company success. Professional realization is usually in the field of supply, production/operations or distribution of a manufacturing company with the possibility of reaching middle management positions in distribution, transport, warehouse and other companies in the logistics sector.
