  • In accordance with: STCW 78/95 Reg. IV/2; Sec. A – IV/2 and Regulation № 6 for the competence of seafarers of the Republic of Bulgaria. IMO Model course 1.26 plus compendium

  • For who: The course is mandatory for preparation for sailing in coastal areas /for fishermen/

  • Course duration:25 classes, 3 days

  • Venue: The course is conducted using a telecommunications simulator.

The course provides practical exercises with: Digital Selective Calling (DSC) system of VHF, transceiver operation, NAVTEX Receiver, Portable Survival Equipment – EPIRB, SART, AIS-SART, Distress Communications, Search and Rescue procedures and keeping of Radio Log Book, General Radio Operations Rules, Good Practice, Battery Maintenance

The course is conducted using a telecommunications simulator.
