CCNA3: LAN Switching and Wireless/Scaling Networks
The goals of CCNA3 are as follows:
- Configure the base switch parameters (switch name, access passwords on different lines and for different modes of operation, IP address of VLAN 1 interface).
- Save the switch configuration in its own NVRAM memory or TFTP server.
- Make a copy of the operating system on the switch, as well as update it through a TFTP server.
- Perform the Password Recovery procedure on the switch.
- Configure the Spanning Tree Protocol.
- Configure Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) and VTP (Virtual Trucking Protocol).
- Configure Router on a stick and Inter VLAN with layer 3 switch.
- Configure a wireless local area network.
