The goals of CCNA3 are as follows:

  • Configure the base switch parameters (switch name, access passwords on different lines and for different modes of operation, IP address of VLAN 1 interface).
  • Save the switch configuration in its own NVRAM memory or TFTP server.
  • Make a copy of the operating system on the switch, as well as update it through a TFTP server.
  • Perform the Password Recovery procedure on the switch.
  • Configure the Spanning Tree Protocol.
  • Configure Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) and VTP (Virtual Trucking Protocol).
  • Configure Router on a stick and Inter VLAN with layer 3 switch.
  • Configure a wireless local area network.

CCNA1 and CCNA2 certificate
