Long-term forecast looks favorable for farms in the Southeast
April 18, 2024 - The National Weather Service Climate Prediction Center recently published their precipitation forecast for the months of May, June, and July, 2024.
Farmers in the Southeastern United States should expect above-normal rainfall for the next three months.
The forecast calls for above-normal precipitation in the states of North Carolina and South Carolina, and portions of Virginia, Tennessee, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, Alabama, and West Virginia.
