Do you recognize this fantasy anime movie?
Two sisters and their father move from urban town to a rural farmland for mother in recuperation from tuberculosis.
Father is an archaeologist, Elder sister is a sixth-grader, and Little sister is four years old.
The family's new place is an old house, and from the yard, they see a small mountain nearby with a huge camphor tree on the top.
One day, Little sister is playing in the yard, and encounters with strange shaggy creatures.
This movie's story is set in a country town in our country around 1960.
Now, nearly sixty years later, the current scene of classroom is not so different from this movie while equipment in classrooms and students' personal possessions changed;
Students are lined and seated in classroom, and one teacher is in front of them.

As I confessed, I disliked school and escaped into studying until studying became a purpose.
I hate to disgrace my mother's career and life, but it was partly because Mother was a high-school teacher,
So even when I had problems at school, I assumed that Mother would be not on my side but school's side, and I hesitated to tell her.
As a result, I accumulated distrust against school and education unconsciously, and I wasn't aware until as late as 2016.
However, after I graduated, I reconsidered how Mother had been going through hard days as a teacher ;
I often witnessed Mother was marking periodic exams and preparing materials for classes at home.
And she was taking part in a movement to reduce maximum number of students per class to 35 from 40, and I often saw leaflets about it at home.
As the number of schoolchildren declined from declining birth rate, Panjandrums reduced the number of teachers and workers at schools instead of the number of students per class.
Schools that Mother was working at were middle or low-ranked schools, so sometimes, teachers including Mother were dealing with problem students and their families.
According to Mother, at higher-ranked schools, teachers tend to be at strife.
In our country, moral guidance, career guidance and acting as adviser for club activities are also teachers' task, not only teaching curriculum course they are in charge of.
Now expert staffs such as school counselors are assigned at some schools, but burdens on teachers keep on increasing.
Besides, a law came up to legalize teachers' unlimited overtime work with no pay.
It's no surprising to hear that less and less young people choose to become teachers, and teachers with vision tend to leave in shorter time.
Mother must have had a faith and pride of her own as a teacher.
But when Mother retired at mandatory retirement age, while there was an option to keep working as a part-timer, she declared that she wouldn't return to school, which could be the strongest proof of her hard days.
-Although the main reason was she had elderly father with dementia -in other words, my grandfather, and grandchildren who were born a few years later -in other words, my nephew and niece, to take care of.

One of the haphazard responses by Panjandrums over Novel Corona-virus infection was abrupt request for nationwide school closedown.
　Even though it was a necessary measure, they should have noticed earlier.
　　Not only parents who were swayed -which is not a story for today.
　　　It was teachers who were thrusted with tasks upon the most.
At my workplace, there is a member who work at a high-school as a career education staff, and this member was complaining about it.
After all, it's always workers at site who are swayed by Panjandrums' haphazard policies out of reality, even at normal time.
　-Not only education, but it's true also at medical and welfare fields.
　　Come to think of it, those are fields that Panjandrums slight and try to tighten budgets while they treat like sophisticated occupation in their own favor.
Now it's already the past, but when my sister was a junior high-school student , a teacher was giving lessons suffering from influenza.
　In a few days, students in front-row seat contracted influenza.
　　Soon, other students fell ill one after another, and this class was closed down next week.
Back then, influenza was generally misunderstood to be the same kind as cold.
If the same thing happens at school nowadays, not only infected teacher but also administrators at school would be blamed
-But school is understaffed, and besides, taking sick leaves is disapproved of in our country , so there is no assuring that such thing won't happen.
