We are ‘Aiiku team’ for our maternity hospital and we knew each other in its mother class 3 years ago.
We have to choose restaurants carefully these days because our 2-year-old naughty children move around, scream during lunchtime.
Our conditions are below.

1. It has a private room.
2. Charge of the room is free.
3. We can drink beer at lunch.
4. Of course they have delicious foods!

There are some Chinese restaurants match our conditions and this time we found a perfect one, ‘Kongo-Hanten’ Diamond Hotel in Hanzomon . They give a hand towel and cookies to each children and 120% customer service. It is definitely my recommended restaurant even it is not located in Minato.
(Especially fried noodles taste wonderful!!)

I am the youngest in the team but other mothers are so stimulus because they are perfectly ‘beautiful’ from top of a head to the top of a toe whenever we meet. They all never give up anything because they are with a child.
However, it should be true that we need some ‘circumstances’ even how we try to brush up ourselves. Here is my experienced ‘children are welcomed, brush up spots’.



1.‘Hands On’ Minami-Aoyama(nail salon)

They play with your child in the same room and you do not worry about child while you put jell nail for 2 hours. My Michi was so happy with a cute staff and she put mini seals on his nails!

2. ‘Sulir’ Ebisu(hair salon)

They have a small private room with TV and your child can wait with watching a favorite DVD. Its eye blow perm last for 3 months(\3000). There are also head spa, nail courses. Michi was happy with ‘Finding Nimo’.

3. ‘Azabu Studio’(yoga)

It has variety of classes of hot yoga, maternity yoga etc. We can ask ‘Ichigo nanny room’ our children during a class. They take children to ‘Ajiro Park’ next to the studio. Of course Michi was so happy with many play equipments.

4. ‘Bar Sakurazuki’ Shirokane

This bar is famous for big variety of ham and actually its master is very handsome! There is a chartered plan called ‘Sakurazuki mama club’ for mothers and children(more than 3 couples) from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. There is a changing bed in rest room, baby circle in the floor, and we can see Disney animation or TV program on the big screen. We say their service is ‘holy one’. Of course we enjoy hams and pasta, the price is only \5000 each!
I will introduce other places in other chances.

By the way, I think that there are many ‘choices’ in this area. Restaurants, beauty salons, hospitals, schools, and shopping-----
It is sometimes hard to choose something but it is also natural that they ‘brush up’ in each trades and it leads their high level and originalities.
Some of them say children are welcomed but others will say the opposite.

It was fun to go restaurants I found in magazines.
However, now I find small happiness in walking with my family in Minato, finding our favorite spots from many restaurants. I suppose it is important to keep an idea ‘to find something suits for me with a child’ and you can find it in Minato.
