Baseball player Mr. Kuroda has decided to return to Japan and pitch for his
first professional team, the Hiroshima Toyo Carp.
He was a main pitcher of New York Yankees, which offer him with 1,900milion
yen. But he decided to return to japan for only 400milion yen. There were
many players who went to MLB in the USA. But there was no one who came back
to japan when he was in prime time although many plyers came back after
prime time.
I think the players who were able to enter to MLB was by the grace of
Japanese professional team and Japanese fan. But they forgot the obligation
to Japan when they succeeded in the USA . A player Kuroda is only one who
think about the debts for Japanese baseball. I respect him because he know
the meaning of his succeed. I wish him to flourish greatly in japan.
黒田選手が日本に帰り最初に所属した広島東洋カープで投げることに心を決めた。彼
はニューヨークヤンキースの主力投手で１９億円でオッファーされていた。しかし彼
はただ４億円なのに日本に帰ることに決めたのだ。アメリカ大リーグに行った選手は
多いが、盛りが過ぎてから帰って来る人はいても盛りの時に日本に帰ってきた選手は
一人もいなかった。私は思うに、彼らが大リーグに行けたのは日本プロ野球や日本の
フアンのおかげだと思う。しかし彼らはアメリカで成功したら日本に対する恩義を忘
れてしまう。日本野球に対する恩義を忘れなかったのは黒田選手だけである。成功し
たのは誰のおかげかを知っている黒田選手を尊敬する。日本での大活躍を祈っている。
